Journey to Industry connects New Orleans students with industry career pathways

Last week, 10th graders from Hahnville, Desterhan, Ehret, East Jefferson, Higgins, Chalmette, Belle Chasse, and South Plaquemines High Schools gathered at ABC Bayou Chapter’s campus for Journey to Industry (JTI) to learn about career opportunities in industry.

These students were immersed in craft careers with engaging booths that gave students an idea of what it is like to work in industrial craft careers. We appreciate our sponsors who helped make this event happen: presenting sponsor, OxyChem, and zone sponsor, PBF Energy - Chalmette Refining.
